Electric vehicle owners face the primary challenge of accessibility and pricing of electric chargers.
- This challenge is effectively addressed through the Sparkshare community. By granting other network users access to your electric vehicle charger when they purchase it from you, WTC tokens are generated on your account, which you can later use for charging at other chargers within our network.
- In other words, if you charge your vehicle for free at home using your own solar panels, and another member of our community arrives, they will charge at a token price that you define, and you will be able to utilize those tokens at another location with a Sparkshare charger. This way, during travels, you will charge at the same rate as at home, which, if you own solar panels, is essentially equivalent to the depreciation cost of the solar power plant. Isn’t that remarkable?
- Initiating charging is extremely straightforward and is done through the Sparkshare mobile application. The application provides all the information about each charger, including power rating, number of connectors, and more. It also displays occupancy and the presence of other amenities.
