1. Hardware Milestone: Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly on the hardware front, focusing on the ESP32 as the brain of our SparkShare Box. We’ve received the first pieces of our hardware, and it’s thrilling to see our ideas materialize.
Throughout October, we’ve been busy with protoboards, testing connectivity, and integrating measurement components. The result? We’ve successfully connected our ESP32 board with the SparkShare backend for the very first time! This means we’re now able to track energy measurements accurately – a crucial step towards our goal of a universal, smart charging solution.
2. Software Advancements: Simultaneously, our software team has been coding magic into existence. They’ve started developing a robust backend system that will bring cloud and smart functionalities to life. The goal? To make the SparkShare Box a versatile tool that can smartly integrate with any ‘non-smart’ EV charger an owner already has.
We’re not just building a product; we’re creating an ecosystem that enhances the EV charging experience at every level.
