The process of setting up the charging station involved a number of tests and adjustments. As a user of the SparkShare open-source platform, Silvio had the opportunity to personalize the charger housing. He tested various options and decided to try several decorative masks. One he plans to 3D print and coat with hydrographics featuring a lightning ⚡ pattern inspired by wheel rims, while the second will be painted in Tesla’s signature color. The third mask is being made from wood using a CNC machine 🌳 to match the style of his garage.

Testing and System Optimization 🔧

Silvio didn’t stop at just the design; he also tested various technical aspects of setting up the charging station. From WiFi stability 📶 to configuring charging authorization 🔒, he carefully worked through each step to ensure the system runs smoothly. Additionally, he plans to expand with a “Tesla lounge” area in the garage. 🚙💺
