SparkShare chargers can be integrated with Home Assistant, the open platform for running a smart home, so charging becomes part of your automations. Everything is ours, and that is exactly why it can be open.
Charge with the sun
Panels produce the most at noon, while the car often charges in the evening. A smart charger solves this by following production and adapting charging to the surplus: when the sun shines brighter it charges faster, when a cloud passes it slows down or waits.
Connected to Home Assistant, the charger becomes part of a bigger picture: the solar plant, the heat pump, the home battery and the car are visible in one place, and consumption is planned according to how much energy there is and what it is worth at that moment.
Open by principle
An open API both for communication with our cloud and for direct communication with the charger itself. A hotel can connect it to its guest system, a company to its energy management, an enthusiast to anything they write.
30 years of software warranty. If we ever stopped development, all the software would be published as open source, so the community could maintain it and no SparkShare charger would be left without its brain.
Download the model and 3D print your own housing in the colour you want, or buy only the electronics and build it into your own housing – specifications and STEP 3D templates are available to all users on the portal.
The SparkShare platform – app, web portal and charger cloud – runs in data centres in the European Union, and chargers get automatic over-the-air (OTA) updates.
We do not want the user to be locked into our ecosystem. We want them to stay because they like it.
