Dina Apartmani in Biograd: an EV charger that brings guests
Guests who arrive by electric car look for accommodation with a charger. When they search, they switch on the "EV charging" filter – and a host with a charger is on their list. Dina Apartmani in Biograd na Moru made sure of that with a SparkShare BOXEV.
A charger with the house logo
The BOXEV hangs on the wall of the house, with the Dina Apartmani logo on its 3D-printed cover. It charges through a Type 2 cable at up to 11 kW. Next to it is a sign with a QR code: guests scan it, download the SparkShare app, top up and start charging – no cards, no reception desk, no cash.
Free, cheaper or paid – the host decides
With COMC coupons Dina Apartmani can give guests free or discounted charging, for one session or for the whole stay. Everyone else pays in the app at the price the host sets. How this works without the host becoming an electricity supplier is explained on the page EV charging billing.
On the map of the whole network
The charger is visible on the map in the SparkShare app, so drivers passing through Biograd can find it too. And the kWh other drivers pay for become the host's WTC tokens, which are valid on every SparkShare charger on the map of the network.
Dina Apartmani are five minutes' walk from Dražica beach, with an indoor heated pool and bicycle rental – and now also a place where guests charge the car while they enjoy Biograd. We wrote about their first steps with SparkShare in an earlier post.
