CroPC tested SparkShare BOXEV, a smart Croatian charger
On 1 August 2026 the Croatian tech portal CroPC published a hands-on review in its AutoZona section: "We tried it: SparkShare BoxEV – a smart Croatian charger that combines functionality and simplicity".
What CroPC wrote about BOXEV
CroPC presents the BOXEV as a complete solution for smart charging of electric cars, ideal for homes and smaller businesses. It highlights the compact design, the Type 2 connector with a fixed 6 m cable and simple installation.
Charging is managed in the mobile and web app: you follow energy consumption, set the price and power, and share the charger with other users. BOXEV works single-phase or three-phase, with adjustable power up to 22 kW – for houses, garages, private parking and residential buildings where the charger is shared.
One family, the same brain
The article also presents the CUBE in a robust aluminium housing for restaurants, hotels and public car parks, mounted on a wall or a pole, and the freestanding TUBE for open car parks away from buildings. All three run on the same SparkShare software for smart energy management and sharing, with local support and development in Croatia.
CroPC concludes: "It is precisely this modularity and adaptability that make SparkShare one of the more interesting domestic players on the EV charging market."
